About Board Exchange

Who We Are

Board Exchange opened in Portugal in Spring 2024 and has since become Europe's largest used surfboard warehouse, with +250 inspected boards in stock at any time. We're a small team based in Cascais, Portugal, using technology to bring fair pricing and real inspection standards to a category that used to run entirely on word of mouth.

We're going through close to 1,000 boards a year, working with hundreds of individual and business sellers, and shipping to every corner of Europe — 27 countries and counting.

For Sellers

If you're looking to sell your board, we'll do it faster and smoother than selling it yourself. Send us your board's details and photos — we handle listing, inspection, storage and shipping, so you're not stuck coordinating buyers or meet-ups.

For Buyers

Browse +250 inspected boards — shortboards, longboards, fish, softboards and more — filterable by size, volume, brand and fin system. Every board is checked for dings, delamination and structural damage before it's listed. If you don't find what you're after, get in touch and we'll source it from our network of sellers.

Board Exchange is run day-to-day by a small team based at our warehouse in Cascais, Portugal, backed by 5.0★ ratings from close to 350 Google reviews. We inspect every board ourselves before it ships — no drop-shipping, no unseen listings.
