Board Exchange opened in Portugal in Spring 2024 and has since become the largest marketplace of used surfboards in Portugal.

We sell locally and internationally, shipping boards Europe-wide on a daily basis.

We are doing an experiment - we are using technology to its best extent to provide fair prices in second-hand surf gear. What used to be a low-margin category for surf shops, requiring a lot of manual effort, is now being handled at scale with our tech.

So far, we are going through close to 1,000 boards a year, working with hundreds of individual and business sellers, and selling to every corner of Europe.
