At Board Exchange, we ship boards every day to Portugal (mainland and islands) and to every corner of Europe, UK included.
Most destinations have shipping costs calculated at checkout. If you're in doubt, get in touch and we'll help you out.
Shipping a bunch of boards together costs way less than sending just one. Round up some friends to grab a board and you'll all save on shipping!

Shipping and Delivery Policy
Shipping Destinations and Costs
We ship to Portugal and across Europe.
For specific European shipping costs, add your items to the cart and go to the checkout page.
Delivery Timeframes
- Continental Portugal: 2 to 3 business days
- Portuguese Islands: departures once a week, 5 to 7 business days in transit
- Europe: 5 to 10 business days
These are estimated timeframes and may vary with customs procedures and local delivery conditions.
Damage Cover
As we specialise in second-hand surfboards, standard courier insurance may not apply. To protect your purchase, we offer an optional Damage Cover for a fee of €20 to €30 per order. This cover includes:
- Reimbursement for repair costs if the board is damaged during transport
- Coverage from the moment the surfboard is handed to the carrier until delivery
- Claims made within 3 days of delivery, with photos of the package and of the board damage on delivery

Delivery Process
- You will receive a tracking number once your order is shipped.
- On delivery, inspect the package before signing. If you can't inspect it straight away, sign as "Subject to Inspection".
- If you suspect damage, document it with photos and contact us within 3 days.
Additional Information
We do not ship to PO boxes.
A signature may be required on delivery.
